WILLIAM HOEKSTRA, PSY.D. LP DBSM

Dr. Hoekstra is a graduate of Luther College and earned his doctorate at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He has practiced clinical psychology for over 20 years and is licensed in the state of Minnesota. He has extensive training in sleep disorder diagnosis and treatment and has presented workshops on the topic.  He is board-certified in Behavioral Sleep Medicine (DBSM).

Dr. Hoekstra has specialties in psychological trauma, psychological assessment, and treatment of mood disorders including depression and anxiety. He has worked within a wide range of settings including county mental health, forensic court systems, outpatient clinic settings, and private practice.  He takes great pride in providing high quality, patient-centric care as well as practical mental health education.

Dr. Hoekstra lives with his wife and three children.  He enjoys camping in the MN State Parks, gravel cycling, running, and live music concerts.
